Order Takers can apply discount codes on behalf of guests at checkout.
The discount must be applied before choosing the method of payment:
Instructions
1) Access the guest's tab and press the Close Tab button
2) On the pop-up window that appears, press the Gift Card button
3) On the page with a barcode you can manually enter a discount code OR scan a discount ticket
Valid Discount Code
When a valid discount code is entered the discount will be applied to the guest's tab and the Order Taker screen will redirect back to the guest's open tab to resume the checkout process.
The applied discount will now be visible on the guest's tab detail
Invalid Discount Code
When an invalid discount code is used a pop-up will appear on the screen with an "Error" message. No discount will be applied, and the Order Taker can retry (in case of a mistake) or try another discount code.
If there is continued trouble with a discount code we recommend reaching out to the venue administrator to confirm the code is valid and active.
