The Order Taker app has the ability to configure a predetermined amount to authorize when starting a tab instead of authorizing the full amount on the order.
Venue Admins with access to Order Taker app options can configure either a Flat or Percentage amount to authorize when starting a tab.
When no amount has been configured the Order Taker app will default to authorizing the full amount on the order.
To configure a pre-authorization amount on Order Taker:
1) Login to the Tapin2 Admin site
2) Click on Application Settings, then Options
3) Click on the Order Taker tab
4) Scroll to the bottom of the Options list to see the "Auth Amount to Submit an Order" header
5) Use either the Flat OR Percentage field to configure the desired authorization amount
6) Click Save to confirm your setting
