Overview
Subcategories allow a venue to split up a menu category into smaller subcategories.
This can be useful if there is a significantly large amount of products in a single menu category. Splitting these products into subcategories allows the customer to view the large number of products more easily.

Adding a Subcategory to a Product
In the Create a Subcategory section of this article, this article walked through adding a product to a subcategory. We also support the opposite flow of adding a subcategory to a product. The end result is the same which is associating a product with a subcategory.
To add a subcategory to a product, first go to the Products page and select to edit the desired product (or add a new one). On the edit page of that product, there is an input field for Subcategories. Select that field, input the desired subcategory to add, and select it. You will see the subcategory added to the product.
