Troubleshooting Castles Devices

1. Sometimes, you may find that the FP app will launch itself. If it launches and won’t close:
   1. Select ARUS
   2. It will pop up again
   3. Scroll down and select Quickstep
      
       
2. Seeing the Secured By FreedomPay screen, unable to exit.
   
   
   1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner
   2. In the User field, enter FPAdmin
   3. In the Password field, enter Config%Login
   4. From here, you should now be in the “ARUS” Kiosk Mode. Follow the instructions in the step below to exit this screen and return to the Tapin2 application.
      
       
3. If you find yourself in “ARUS” Kiosk Mode (E.g., you see a big Freedom Pay Screen and can’t get out):
   1. Click on the three dots in the top right corner
   2. Exit Kiosk Mode
   3. Use PW: FreedomPay!
      
      NOTE: To prevent yourself from getting into this mode, while in the System Panel, go to Settings> Apps and Notifications> Default Apps > Home App> Select “Quick Step”
       
4. How to clear the Application Database
   1. Settings
   2. Password1: 00000000
   3. Password2: 00000000
   4. Apps-->Tapin2App

   5. Clear cache, clear storage 

5. If you find yourself on the “Activate Payment Device” screen:

   

   1. Hit the Back button on the top left corner. This takes you to the ARUS Kiosk page.
   2. On ARUS Kiosk page, click on the three dots in the top right corner
   3. Exit Kiosk Mode
   4. Use PW: FreedomPay!
