Fulfillment Devices are used to route and configure order fulfillment for locations to printers and KDS units.
Accessing Fulfillment Devices
To access Fulfillment Devices: go to Operations Settings, then click on Fulfillment Devices.
Adding Fulfillment Devices
There are two ways to add Fulfillment Devices; adding a single device, or uploading multiple devices. Sites can also download all of their devices and make changes prior to uploading, or a template can be downloaded that contains all of the required fields if a site is starting from scratch.
How to add a single device
- On Fulfillment Devices page, click on the Add a Fulfillment+ button.
- Add Title, select a device type and adjust options as needed. Click Save.
How to Upload Multiple Devices
- On Fulfillment Devices page, click on Upload Devices button.
- On Upload Devices page, click on "Drag files here to upload", then select Excel file and choose open.
- Double check the first 5 rows of data, then choose Upload File.
Editing Fulfillment Device Settings
- On Fulfillment Devices page, click on pencil button to adjust Fulfillment Device settings.
- Status - click on checkmark to change status of the device from active to inactive. Inactive devices will show up on the Inactive tab on the Fulfillment Devices page
- Rules - Click Rules to open a Fulfillment Device Rules page. Fulfillment Rules are configured for each Fulfillment Device and must be in place in order for a device to receive orders. Rules assign the Fulfillment Devices to Locations and Fulfillment Groups.
- Search Fulfillment Devices - The Device Search bar can be used to search for Fulfillment Devices within the venue
- Delete a Fulfillment Device - Click the Trash Can icon to delete a Fulfillment Device
Fulfillment Rules
- Click the Add a Fulfillment Device button to bring up the Fulfillment Rule configuration screen
Editing a rule - Click the Pencil button to view the settings of a Fulfillment Rule you want to edit
Delete a Rule - Click the Trash Can icon to delete a Fulfillment Rule
Fulfillment Rules Fields
- Location - Select the Location from the drop down to assign the Fulfillment Device to a specific location. Fulfillment Devices will only receive orders from the select Location. Fulfillment Rules can be set to receive orders from All Locations, this is the default setting
- Fulfillment Group - Select the Fulfillment Group from the drop down to assign to the Fulfillment Device. Fulfillment Devices will only receive orders with products that belong to the assigned Fulfillment Group. Fulfillment Rules can be set to receive orders from all Fulfillment Groups, this is the default setting.
- Ordering Device - Select a device from the drop down to assign a single device to the rule.
- Copies - Number of Copies the Fulfillment Printer will print the same order.
- Print Entire Order - When checked the Location and Fulfillment Group Rules will be overridden and the Fulfillment Device will print/display the entire order.
- Available Sections - Assign Sections to the Fulfillment Device by clicking and highlighting the name of the Section(s) in the box on the left then click the arrow pointing to the right to add the Section(s) to the Fulfillment Device. To remove sections click and highlight the names of the Section(s) in the box on the right then click the arrow pointing to the left to unassign them. When Sections are assigned to a Fulfillment Device only orders that come from those sections will be sent to the Fulfillment Device (Typically used for Mobile and Inseat Fulfillment Routing).
