iPadOS DEVICE SETUP:
Note: Follow the steps below only if your organization is not utilizing an MDM

- Turn on tablet and follow prompts to setup for first time
- Select English
- Select United States
- Connect to Wi-Fi
- Select NO to “Enable Location Services”
- Select Setup Touch ID Later/confirm continue
- Create Password>Select ‘Password Options’>Select ‘Don’t Add Passcode/Continue’
- Setup as New iPad
- Select Don’t have an Apple ID
- Select Setup Later in Settings
- Select Don’t Use Apple ID
- Select Agree in lower right corner of screen
- Select Don’t Use Siri
- Select Don’t Share for data
- Select Get Started
- Uninstall all unnecessary apps
- Update iPadOS. Go to Settings>General>Software Update>Install iPadOS Update
LOCK SCREEN ROTATION:
- Rotate tablet to portrait mode
- Swipe down from top left corner to open Control Center
- Select Rotation Lock button to lock orientation
- *If Rotation Lock is not showing in Control Center, it needs to be added. See instructions on this page to add Rotation Lock as a control. https://support.apple.com/guide/ipad/use-and-customize-control-center-ipade572ca56/ipados
Install IPC Support and Webhub IPC
- Open App Store
- Login to App Store with Apple ID, if you do not have an Apple ID please create one
- Search for IPC Support app & Install – link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/ipcsupport/id1015160712
- Search for Webhub IPC & install – link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/webhub-ipc-browser/id1015159874
Configure Web Hub App
- Open iPadOS Settings, scroll down to Apps
- Select Webhub
- Under Webhub Settings Appearance, tap on URL field, then enter the URL for the Product the device will be used for:
- Order Taker Enter URL: https://ordertaker.tapin2.co/account/pin/{Venue ID}
- Hawkers that will select the items they sell upon logging in; Enter URL: https://hawker.tapin2.co/account/pin/{Venue ID}
- Hawkers that will sell the specific items from a location Enter URL: https://hawker.tapin2.co/account/pin/{Venue ID}?locationId={Location ID}
- KDS Enter URL: https://fulfill.tapin2.co/account/pin/{VENUE ID}
- Turn ON “Show Navigation”
- Under External Charging (Linea) update the following settings:
- Turn On: 1A current
- Turn Off: Pass Through/Enable/Max Uptime Mode)
- Open Webhub App to confirm Ordertaker URL is loading properly
BLUETOOTH PRINTERS

Initial Pairing
- Open iPadOS Setting & Go to Bluetooth
- Enable Bluetooth
- Isolate iPad and Printer from other BT Printers or make sure all other BT printers nearby are turned off as they will all populate with the same name and you will not be able to discern which one is the one you are trying to pair to
- Power on BT Printer
- BT Printer will show up in scanned BT Devices in the iPadOS BT settings as SRP-III
- Select the SRP-III Device and Pair. Confirm pairing when prompted with the paring Pin
- SRP-III should now show as connected in the iPadOS BT Settings
- Open the Webhub App and a blue light on the BT Printer will start blinking to indicate the device is connected to the app

Adjusting Sleep Timer
- Make sure you are working with a DPP 250 handheld printer, and that your device is charged.
- Press and hold the power button until “HARDWARE SETUP” prints.
- You may press the power again to exit, pressing the UP Arrow will take you into the settings.
- The printer will now cycle through the different configuration options. Press power to skip to the next option and the up arrow to edit the selected setting.
- To change the Auto Off Time, press the the up arrow to change the setting and the power button to scroll through the different times available.
- When you see the option you would like, press the Up Arrow to make the change.
- Once the change is made you must save it. Press power a few more times until you get to “Store Settings?” then press the up arrow
- The setting has now been saved to the printer

Troubleshooting Printing
- Power Off Printer
- Press Home Button in Webhub app at bottom left corner of the screen and re-login to the Inseat app.
- Turn Printer Back on and wait 5 seconds
- BT Printer should be reconnected to the Webhub app and able to print again now
