How to Add a Standing Order
Background
Tapin2 admins now have the ability to set a Standing Order on customer accounts for venues that are using the Preorder application.
Standing orders are repeating orders that are regularly placed by the customer, usually at every event.
With the correct permissions enabled venue admins are able to add a customer's standing order to Preorder events, which will add the order to the event for staff to prepare and will appropriately charge payment for the order.
Creating a Standing Order
1. On the Customer Search page locate the customer's account and click the Details button.
2. On the Customer/Details page under the Order History subtab a list of all orders in the customer's history will be displayed.
3. Click on the star icon next to an order to set the order as a Standing Order. The star will fill in with a yellow color to confirm it is now a Standing Order.
4. When the star icon is clicked and the order is made a Standing Order, the order will now be displayed under the Standing Order section of the Customer/Details page.
5. You can continue to add Standing Orders to the customer's account by clicking the star icon of other orders in the customer's history.
Remove a Standing Order from a Customer Account
To remove a Standing Order from a customer's account, click on the order's star icon in the Standing Order section.
This will clear the order from the Standing Order section and clear the star icon from the order in the Order History section.
Applying a Standing Order to an Event
Once Standing Orders have been created for customers they must be added to each Preorder event by a venue admin.
The instructions below show how to apply standing orders to an event:

2. On the Order/Index page, click the “Add Standing Order” button in the top right.
3. All available Standing Orders will appear on the Standing/Order index page.
4. Place a checkmark to select the order(s) you’d like to add then click the Add Order button.
5. The order(s) will now appear on the Order/Index page of that event.
